The Butterflies

  • Butterfly releases are commonly used for weddings, celebrations of life, memorials, graduations, and other meaningful milestones.

  • We offer Monarch butterflies, Painted Lady butterflies, and a mix of both. Each option creates a slightly different release experience.

  • Monarchs are larger and more bold in appearance, often chosen for symbolic or intimate releases. Painted Ladies are smaller and great for larger group releases where many guests participate.

  • Yes. All of our butterflies are ethically and responsibly raised with care to ensure they are healthy, strong, and ready for release.

  • Yes. We take great care in packaging and timing deliveries. If there are any issues upon arrival, please contact us immediately so we can help.

Ordering & Delivery

  • We recommend ordering at least 2–3 weeks in advance to ensure availability, especially during peak seasons (spring through early fall). If your event is coming up sooner, feel free to reach out—we’ll do our best to accommodate!

  • You’ll select your event date at checkout, and we’ll coordinate delivery timing to ensure your butterflies arrive as close to your event as possible.

  • We offer shipping and local delivery options depending on your location. All orders are carefully timed and packaged to ensure safe arrival.

  • We understand plans can shift. Contact us as soon as possible, and we’ll work with you to adjust your delivery date whenever we can.

Release Guidelines

  • Butterflies should be released outdoors in a safe, natural environment. We do not recommend indoor releases.

  • Butterflies prefer warm, dry weather (ideally 65°F and above). Rain, cold temperatures, or strong winds can affect their ability to fly.

  • We’ll provide guidance ahead of your event. In some cases, releases can be adjusted slightly (timing or location) to ensure the best experience.

  • Butterflies should be released the same day they arrive, as close to your event time as possible for the best results.

Caterpillar Kits

  • Typically about 2–3 weeks from caterpillar to butterfly, depending on conditions.

  • Absolutely. They’re a fun, hands-on learning experience for kids and families.

Release Boxes & Add-Ons

  • No, release boxes are sold separately unless bundled. You can pair them with any butterfly release package.

  • Yes! We offer personalization options such as names, dates, or short messages—perfect for weddings and memorials.
